Boy, 14, injured in accidental shooting

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - A 14-year-old boy was rushed to a hospital Wednesday after being shot in Fort Lauderdale, a fire department representative said.

Matt Little, of Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue, said the teen was shot at 4821 NW 10th Ave.

Little said the shooting was described as accidental.

The boy was transported to Broward Health Medical Center. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

No further details were immediately available.
