InterContinental Miami picks 3 digital dancers

Hotel announces winners to appear as silhouettes on side of building

MIAMI - The InterContinental Miami picked three winners from dozens of dancers who auditioned to become the next silhouette dancers on its digital display.

"I am so excited that I won," said Jasmine Howl.

"I am going to be on the side of the building," added Jessica Mederos. "That's great."

"Oh my gosh, I can't believe they chose me," said Jay Marcos. "I was really nervous because all these sexy girls and they are doing all this Beyonce stuff, and then I come up and do my little hip hop and everything, and they appreciated it so I'm happy about that."

"We launched the digital canvas a year ago and one of the things asked at the time is well who is the dancer," said Robert Hill, general manager of the InterContinental Miami. "Out of that idea came the idea to have some locals."

The winners also received weekend stay in one of the suites at the hotel.
