U.S. marshals to auction off seized luxury goods

Auction will be held Friday in Miami Beach

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – The U.S. Marshals Service is holding an auction in Miami Beach on Friday to sell more than 350 luxury goods seized during federal crime cases nationwide.

The items include jewelry, watches, loose diamonds, and silver and gold bullion and coins.

The auction will be held at 10 a.m. at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Room B 118. Those who cannot attend can bid during the live auction online by going to www.txauction.com.

The U.S. Marshals Service holds similar auctions several times a year nationwide. Proceeds from all asset sales are used to compensate victims, supplement funding for law enforcement initiatives and support community programs.
