Making the Squad: learn what it takes to be on So Fla's hottest dance teams

Former Heat Dancer choreographer Janine Thompson-Brown to host workshop Sunday

MIAMI LAKES, Fla. – A former director and choreographer of the Miami Heat Dancers is offering a workshop to get women prepared for their next big audition.

Janine Thompson-Brown, the owner of Icon Talent, is hosting a workshop Sunday to tell you everything you need to know in order to make the team.

According to its website, "Making the Squad" participants will receive audition tips, on their dance moves, presentation, and interview skills, bootcamp sessions with some of South Florida's top trainers, and the chance to take part in mock auditions before the big day.

Sunday's workshop is at Shula's Athletic Club in Miami Lakes from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Come audition ready. The cost is $55 per participant ($45 if you register by November 8). 

Local 10's MJ Acosta, a former Dolphins cheerleader, will be helping to coach participants as well.
