HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – A man was arrested over the weekend after he sexually assaulted an intoxicated woman inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino parking garage.
James Amelio, 30, faces one count of sexual battery on a person over the age of 12 years old.

According to Seminole police, Amelio and the victim knew each other and initially met up at another location.
Police said surveillance video showed them walking around the Seminole Paradise area Sunday before walking into the garage.
Police said security staff witnessed the sexual assault on video as it was happening on the seventh floor of the garage and detained Amelio until police arrived.
Amelio remains at the Broward County jail.
