U-Save clerk Ramzi Foqahaa likely paralyzed

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The man accused of shooting a convenience store clerk turned himself in to Fort Lauderdale police Wednesday.

Police said a clerk at the U-Save Convenience Store in Lauderhill got into a fight with Gevaenydd K. McKenzie on July 31. McKenzie then came back with a gun and shot Ramzi Foqahaa several times.

Foqahaa, 21, was listed in serious condition at Broward General Medical Center. Foqahaa's family said he will likely be paralyzed.

Fort Lauderdale police are expected to provide more information Thursday.
