Man accuses Mike Pouncey, brother of assault

South Florida man claims brothers assaulted him, woman

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A South Florida man is accusing Miami Dolphins player Mike Pouncey and his brother, Maurkice of the Pittsburgh Steelers, of assaulting him at a Miami Beach club.

Ricky Vasquez has posted multiple times to Twitter and Instagram, several photos and videos of the alleged assault.

In his posts, he says, the Pouncey brothers hit him and a woman early Saturday morning at Cameo in Miami Beach.

"I just got jumped by 4 bouncers and the Pouncey twins at Cameo," he tweeted. "I'm going to press charges. My face is swollen."

The pictures and videos have gotten attention across social media.

Miami Beach police told Local 10 News there was an altercation inside the nightclub around 4:20 a.m. Saturday.

"At this time we have not confirmed or identified the Pouncey brothers as being involved," Robert Hernandez of Miami Beach police said in a statement. "A report has been made by the alleged victim."

Local 10 has reached out to the Miami Dolphins for comment, but they have yet to respond.

A worker from the club, who wanted to remain anonymous, told Local 10 that he saw the Pounceys a few tables away from the altercation, but said they were not involved.
