Man brandishing silver handgun robs Wells Fargo Bank in Hollywood

No shots fired during robbery

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – The FBI is searching for a man who robbed a Wells Fargo Bank Tuesday morning in Hollywood.

The robbery was reported just before 11 a.m. at 4600 Sheridan St.

Surveillance images showed a man, who was wearing a motorcycle helmet, backpack and maroon jacket, pull out a silver handgun as he entered the bank.

In one image it appears that the robber has one hand on a woman who was speaking with a teller while holding up the gun in his other hand.

The FBI said no shots were fired and no injuries were reported.

Agents said the robber demanded cash but would not disclose whether any money was given to the robber.
