Man charged with dealing in stolen property

Detectives arrest Ronnie Hill, retrieve bearer bonds worth $11 million

MIAMI – Police say a 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged with one count of dealing in stolen property.

At 9:40 a.m. Tuesday, police said a business man parked his car at Brickell Avenue and Southeast 15th Road.

Minutes later, police said the man received calls from Ronnie Jerome Hill, 35, claiming he would return property from inside his car in exchange for $5,000.

Hill kept in touch with the man through phone calls throughout the day.

Miami police detectives began working the case and said they were able to track down Hill, take him into custody and retrieve bearer bonds worth $11 million.
