MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A man in his 50s is dead and a man in his mid-20s was hurt after a domestic-related shooting, Miami-Dade police said.
The shooting happened after 11 a.m. Saturday at an apartment at 15497 SW 288th St. in southwest Miami-Dade County.
Police discovered the two men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at the apartment complex.
Preliminary information revealed the two men were involved in a domestic dispute when shots were fired. Investigators have not confirmed the relationship between the two men.
According to Miami-Dade police, there was a woman and a 2-year-old child in the apartment at the time of the incident, but neither was hurt.
The man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the other man was airlifted to Kendall Regional Medical Center, where he was undergoing surgery. His condition was not provided.
