NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A death investigation is under way inside a gated community in North Lauderdale.
Just before 11 p.m. Monday, investigators from the Broward County Sheriff's Office responded to 1609 Belmont Street inside the Belmont community.

People who live there told Local 10's Tamika Bickham they heard about four gunshots near the home. They said soon after the gunshots, several deputies arrived.
Police identified the victim as 26-year-old Kishon DaCosta. Detectives said he was returning home from Walmart when he was shot and killed.
