MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A man was found shot to death early Tuesday morning on a northwest Miami-Dade County street.
The discovery was made about 5:30 a.m. in the 2100 block of Northwest 41st Street between a day care and a Metrorail station.
Miami-Dade police said Kenneth Ody Jr., 18, was found shot several times.
Police said there is no suspect or motive for the shooting.
According to detectives, Ody lived in the area, but not on the street where his body was found.
"You can't stop it," nearby resident Edwin Antrobus said. "If it's going to happen, it's going to happen. That's just life."
Investigators are speaking to residents in the area in hopes that someone witnessed the shooting.
