HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – A man was hospitalized after being shot in Hollywood early Tuesday morning.
The investigation began about 4:30 a.m. at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and North 20th Avenue.
Police said the shooting happened in the back alley of a Colombian restaurant. Detectives are interviewing the owner, as well as other owners of nearby businesses.
Crime scene investigators were also seen bagging evidence, including a magazine left behind from the overnight shooting.
The victim was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital.
