PLANTATION, Fla. – A man is in critical condition after he was shot multiple times Tuesday afternoon at a used car and repair business near Plantation.
The shooting was reported about 3 p.m. in the area of Peters Road and 45th Avenue.
Broward County sheriff's deputies and Plantation police officers spoke to several people inside a business. It's unclear whether the shooting happened inside or outside of the building.
"I heard four, five or six shots and went to our window to look out to see what was happening, and (I) just couldn't really see anything," David Jeffrey, who owns a nearby business, said. "It's just sad. It's too bad that the gentleman can't conduct his business."
The victim was taken by paramedics to Broward Health Medical Center. No arrests have been made.
No other details were immediately released.
