DANIA BEACH Fla. – One person was injured Friday afternoon in a shooting in Dania Beach, Broward sheriff's officials said.
The shooting was reported just after 4 p.m. Friday in the area of 4970 SW 29th Way.

According to deputies, the victim was doing yard work outside his home when he was confronted by a man who lives down the street.
The victim was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood. He is listed in serious condition, but is expected to survive his injuries.
The victim's neighbor was taken into custody.
A motive for the shooting is unknown at this time.
