Man killed after fight outside nightclub

Second shooting victim drove to area hospital for treatment

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. ā€“ One man was killed and another was hurt in a shooting near a West Palm Beach nightclub early Monday morning.

Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to the scene of a shooting in the parking lot of Okeechobee and Military Trail around 3:20 a.m. When they arrived, they found the body of an adult male in the parking lot of a Chili's Restaurant.

Authorities say a second victim drove himself to Good Samaritan Medical Center to be treated for a gunshot wound.

According to a PBSO spokesperson, the men had recently left nearby nightclub, Club M, and were standing in a parking lot when a fight broke out and shots were fired.

No motive has been determined.
