According to an arrest report, the homeowner saw Albury standing on his patio facing the swimming pool. He said one of his couch cushions was on fire and was floating in the pool.

Detectives said Albury also removed a TV from its stand in the screened-in porch and tossed it into the swimming pool.

According to the report, Albury told detectives that he left his home in West Palm Beach five days before the incident and had been wandering the streets. He said he had been sleeping in the bushes on the side of the victim's home.

Detectives said Albury claimed that he did not know why he decided to toss the TV into the pool or light the couch cushion on fire.

Albury was reported missing the same day that he was arrested. His father was notified by authorities about his son's arrest.

Albury and his father live together in the Bahamas. His father told authorities that they were in West Palm Beach because his son suffers from a mental illness and he was trying to get him treatment.

A Broward County judge pushed Albury's case until Thursday to see what programs are available for the man.
