FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A man was shocked by power lines Thursday afternoon while cutting a palm tree outside a home in Fort Lauderdale.
The incident was reported about 2:30 p.m. at 1801 NE 21st St.

Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue officials said the victim was stuck in the tree after being shocked and firefighters had to get him down.
Sky 10 was above the scene as the man was placed onto a stretcher with a bandage wrapped around his head.
His condition was not immediately known.
