Man shot after pulling into driveway of Lauderhill home

Gunman flees development in green-colored SUV

LAUDERHILL, Fla. – Police are searching for a man who shot another man inside a Lauderhill neighborhood last month.

The shooting was reported just before 3 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Georgetown community on Northwest 34th Way off 14th Street.

Lauderhill police said Gregory Tisdale Sr. was in the front passenger seat as his son pulled into the driveway of a home.

Policed said a black man, who Tisdale did not recognize, forced open the passenger-side door and shot Tisdale once in the hip.

Surveillance video from a nearby home showed the gunman leaving the development in a green-colored SUV.

Anyone with information about the identity of the gunman is asked to cal Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
