MIAMI - A man was killed after he was shot in the head while sitting inside his pick-up truck.
According to detectives, Andrea Williams, 37, was shot several times at Northwest 123rd Street and 21st Place in Miami on Monday. The pick-up truck was riddled with bullet holes.
"From what I was told, someone was actually waiting for him," said Chantai Clarke, Williams' cousin.
"All I know (is) these young blacks have to stop killing," said Rodney Riddick, Williams' uncle.
Riddick said Williams was shot in front of his mother.
Williams was transported to the Jackson Memorial hospital in critical condition, where he died.
"Right now, it's like, I don't know. I'm speechless, I'm basically speechless because we really don't know what's going on," said Clarke.
"She just had a son killed about five years ago in the same spot," said Riddick.
"His oldest brother was shot in front of the same house, so that's what -- it's like we back here all over again," added Clarke.
Police said the gunman and another person left the area of the shooting in a black sedan.
Anyone with information on the shooting should call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
