MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Police are on the lookout for a shooter after they say a 22-year-old man was shot and killed at a gas station on South Beach.
The incident happened around 3:30 a.m. Sunday at the Shell gas station on 5th Street.
Officers responded to the gas station after receiving reports of a shooting.
Detectives spent Sunday morning talking to people at the station to try and figure out what may have led to the shooting.
The man was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital where he died.
Police believe that the gun shots were fired near the fifth pump at the gas station. Police are still trying to determine if there is any usable footage from some of the cameras fixed at the station.
