MIAMI – A man was shot while riding his bicycle in a Miami neighborhood Wednesday, police said.
The shooting occurred about 5:30 p.m. outside an apartment complex on Northwest First Street.

Miami police said the victim was riding his bicycle when a gunman opened fire at him.
The victim was struck several times and taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, where he underwent emergency surgery.
A motive for the shooting isn't known.
Police are searching for the shooter.
