MIRAMAR, Fla. – A man was hospitalized after multiple gunshots were fired into his Miramar home early Sunday morning, police said.
The man, identified by neighbors as Oral Wilmot, was struck by a bullet while he slept in his home in the 7900 block of Pembroke Road just before 1 a.m.
Wilmot was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, where he was listed in stable condition Sunday night.
Miramar police believe the home was targeted, but they did not release any further information.
