DANIA BEACH, Fla. – Broward Sheriff's Office detectives are searching for a man who they said nonchalantly smoked a cigarette while robbing a Dania Beach convenience store at gunpoint on Monday.
The robbery was reported just before noon at the Dania Shop at 400 NW First St.

Surveillance video shows the robber asking a clerk if he could wire money. The woman behind the register told him that the store didn't provide that service.
Deputies said he returned moments later and pulled out a handgun, demanding money from the cash drawer.
Video shows the nervous clerk unable to open the register, and trying to get rid of the man by throwing random items at him. But her actions did not seem to faze the man, who was smoking a cigarette. He then grabbed two laptops and a cellphone and ran out of the store.
Deputies said the man is seen on surveillance video speaking to two other men, who might have acted as lookouts.
The robber is described as a black man in his 30s, about 6 feet tall, with a medium build. The robber has a beard and was wearing a dark blue sweatshirt, white or light-colored shorts and a cap with a sun flap.
