MIAMI – Police say a man has been shot and killed after he allegedly stabbed three of his relatives.
The incident happened Sunday afternoon at 15015 Monroe Street.
According to Miami-Dade police, 48-year-old John White III stabbed three women, who were all relatives, inside of the home.
After police were called and they arrived at the scene, police said White attempted to get away.
A confrontation occurred between White and officers, in which an officer fired multiple rounds, killing White, said police.
Local 10's Terrell Forney reports no officers were injured.
Police said the three women were airlifted to Kendall Regional Medical Center. The three women were listed in stable condition Monday.
