Man throws rocks, screams sexually biased slurs at victim, police say

Victim says man followed him home early Monday morning in Wilton Manors

WILTON MANORS, Fla. – Police are searching for a man accused of a possible hate crime in Wilton Manors.

The incident happened early Monday morning in the 2200 block of Wilton Drive.

Police said the alleged victim told officers that a Hispanic man with a shaved head screamed sexually biased slurs at him and threw rocks at him, which struck the victim's stomach.

Police said the man then followed the victim for about one and a half blocks to the victim's home, where he continued screaming profanities and throwing rocks at the house.

The victim said the man left in a gold Honda Accord, but could not provide a tag number.
