LAUDERDALE-BY-THE-SEA, Fla. – A 28-year-old man was taken to the hospital Saturday after he nearly drowned in a pool.
Authorities said the man was found in a pool at a house on Codrington Drive in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea.

There was a gathering at the house and when the man was pulled out, police said he wasn't conscious.
Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded to the home and officials said he was taken to Holy Cross.
Authorities said the man had a pulse while he being transported.
