Man wearing trucker hat robs Bank of America in Hialeah

Undisclosed amount of cash taken

HIALEAH, Fla. – The FBI is searching for a man who robbed a Bank of America branch Thursday morning in Hialeah.

Special Agent Michael Leverock said the man, who was wearing a trucker hat and sunglasses, and appeared to be Hispanic, entered the bank at 8665 NW 186th St. about 9:20 a.m.

Leverock said the man handed a teller a note implying that he had a weapon and asked for an unspecified amount of cash.

The FBI said the man left with the cash and no injuries were reported.

Anyone with information about the identity of the robber is asked to call the FBI at 754-703-2000.
