MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Police are investigating a shooting in Miami Gardens, but details are scarce.
Lucy Sosa told Local 10 News she heard gunshots Sunday night, looked outside and saw two victims -- her neighbor, a man in his 20s, and his sister, believed to be 11.
Police obtained a search warrant Monday to enter the house off Northwest 181st Terrace.
Evidence markers lined the front lawn and a car parked outside had a bullet hole through the front windshield.
Sosa joined family and friends as they placed a teddy bear at a growing memorial for the shooting victims.
"I had seen him that exact same day pass by me," neighbor Alba Sosa said. "He was smiling and everything."
