According to a Skype survey, there was a  35% increase in Mother's Day calls last year compared to an average Sunday. 17% of respondents admit to cleaning up their rooms before a Skype session.

On average, the Skype survey found that 43% of men and women communicate with their moms at least once a day. However, women are more likely to connect via phone, email, instant messaging and social networks.
