CARROLLTON, Ala. – A married couple who teach at the same school have been arrested just days apart for having sex with students.
AL.com reports that James "Jamie" Franklin Parker, 32, was arrested Wednesday, two days after his wife Charli Jones Parker was booked on charges of a school employee having sex with a student under the age of 19.

The Parkers were both employed by Pickens Academy in Carrollton, Ala.
Neither incident was connected.
"The incidents involving the husband and wife are separate and unrelated in place and manner of commission," said Pickens County District Attorney Chris McCool.
Charl Parker, 30, who is the school's girls' basketball team head coach is accused of having sex with a male student, while James Parker is alleged to have had sexual relations with a former female student.
None of the sexual encounters occurred at the school.
James Parker is a math teacher at Pickens Academy and also serves as a basketball and football coach.
In a statement to AL.com, the school says the teachers have been suspended.
McCool, who expects more charges to be filed when the investigation concludes, says both Parkers face up to 20 years in prison.
