Superintendent Alberto Carvalho honored at White House

Carvalho named country's top superintendent in February

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Miami-Dade County Public Schools Superintendent Alberto Carvalho attended a special White House ceremony Thursday.

Carvalho was honored by President Barack Obama after he was named the country's top superintendent in February.

He tweeted a photo from the White House.

Obama invited top educators from across the country to be recognized for their hard work.
