MIAMI – A Miami Dade County Water & Sewer plant electrician has been arrested for stealing county supplies and selling them at various locations, according to Miami-Dade police.

Timothy Williamson, a 22-year employee, was arrested Thursday, accused of stealing Miami Dade County Water & Sewer supplies and selling them at various locations, where they would end up at Kash Kingdom Trading Post, police said.

Authorities said Williamson did this for 10 years, pawning in excess of $5,000 in county supplies.

Williamson requested that he not be paid in cash, but cocaine or marijuana from the pawnbroker, according to Miami-Dade police.

Williamson was arrested on charges of cocaine possession, grand theft, dealing in stolen property and official misconduct.

Police said additional arrests may be forthcoming.
