MIAMI BEACH, Fla. -

The Miami Dolphins Foundation is hosting its Fins Weekend Fishing Tournament Saturday morning.

The fishing event is a one-day tournament where Miami Dolphins players, coaches and alumni fish for dolphin, wahoo, kingfish and tuna. Prizes are awarded to whoever catches the largest fish in each category.

This is all taking place at the Miami Beach Marina, located at 300 Alton Road.

Local 10's Johanna Torres spoke to Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who is participating in the event. He is trying to redeem himself after his wife, Lauren, caught a bigger fish at last year's tournament.

"Even my mom was giving me a hard time about Lauren reeling in a bigger fish than me, so definitely want to try and beat her today," says Tannehill.

There will be appearances by Dolphins cheerleaders, as well as live and silent auctions.

The last weigh-in takes place at 5:30 p.m. An awards ceremony and dinner will be held at 6 p.m.
