Miami Fire Rescue Station No. 9 helps parents deliver baby boy

MIAMI – Miami Fire Rescue was called Friday to help deliver a baby for two parents.

The parents-to-be were driving home from a doctor's appointment when the mother's water broke, according to Miami Fire Rescue.

Officials said the parents pulled over at 73rd Street and Northeast Second Avenue in Miami and called for Fire Rescue.

Miami Fire Rescue Station No. 9 arrived and helped deliver the baby.

The mother and the healthy baby boy were taken to North Shore Medical Center, Miami Fire Rescue said.
