Miami Gardens police seek missing 86-year-old man

Police say man diagnosed with dementia

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Miami Gardens police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing 86-year-old man who went missing Saturday.

Police said Sinecio Perera, 86, went missing from 19155 Northwest 45th Avenue in Miami Gardens.

Perera is described by police as a white man, approximately 5 foot 8 inches, weighs 115 pounds and has gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a yellow pullover shirt, tan khaki pants, black shoes, and a blue and white windbreaker.

According to Miami Gardens police, Perera is diagnosed with dementia. He drives a 2006 red 4-door Toyota Corolla with Florida license plate number AVZ-Z18.
