MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - A Miami Gardens woman became an instant millionaire thanks to a very lucky scratch-off ticket.

The Florida Lottery folks said Sylvia Davis, 60, hit the grand prize in the Gold Rush Tripler scratch-off game.

Davis won the $3 million jackpot, but chose the one-time lump-sum payment of $1,950,000.

Davis bought her golden ticket at City News on Flagler St. in Miami.
