Fans make plans for Heat victory at home

MIAMI – Miami Heat fans arrived at the AmericanAirlines Arena on Friday morning to be the first to buy tickets for the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Indiana Pacers defeated the Washington Wizards on Thursday night to advance to the penultimate series against a familiar foe from South Florida.

Heat fans who spoke with Local 10 are making plans for another Heat victory at home.

"That's why we want Game 4, just in case, you know, so we can party with them," Edwin Soriano said.

The Heat fan store is also stocking up on "White Hot Heat" gear.

As the Heat gets ready take on the Pacers, the fans are doing their part by keeping the faith.

"It's not going to be easy," Soriano said. "It really isn't going to be easy, but I have faith in my Heat."

This is the fourth consecutive trip to the Eastern Conference Finals for the Heat.

Tickets are selling fast. As of noon Friday, the only available seating remained in the 400 level at a starting price of $106.

Game 1 of the series in Indianapolis can be seen at 3:30 p.m. on Local 10.
