Miami Hurricanes feel radio rage of former 'Cane Dan Sileo

Rant by Ex-Miami player getting national attention

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. - Former Hurricanes defensive lineman Dan Sileo didn't mince words when describing his alma mater's current team.

Sileo, a host on WQAM Sports Radio, went off on a violent rant following Miami's 54-13 loss at Kansas State on Saturday.

While the three minute broadcast received minimal attention in South Florida, Sileo's "performance" has gone viral nationwide, appearing on various websites, including USA Today.

Under the headline, "Former Miami player goes bonkers on radio show after 'Canes loss," popular football blog said, "The best part is actually hearing Sileo transform into The Incredible Hulk live on air! Now that's quality radio!"

A Sporting News pre-season All-American in 1987, Sileo played as a back-up in the NFL following his years at the University of Miami and has been a radio personality since leaving football.
