MIAMI – A 14-year-old boy is dead after a shooting Friday night in Miami.
Police were called to reports of shots being fired at a home near Northwest 52nd Street and Northwest 12th Avenue.
Gloria Martinez said the teenager, identified Saturday morning as Gabriel Figueroa, was a guest at her house Friday night when bullets flew in.
"He got shot I think in the stomach, something, but I don't think he's going to make it," Martinez told Local 10 News. "He got shot and then he ran inside my house, and he laid over the living room and he was just bleeding everywhere."
Martinez said she was inside cooking when the shots were fired.

"My nephew was outside, my stepson was outside and his friend -- the one that got shot at," Martinez said.
The teen was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Neighbors said gun violence in the area has grown worse in recent weeks.
"Children can't even come outside and play," one neighbor said.
"We're living now in fear," Martinez said.
Martinez said neighbors got a good look at two cars fleeing the scene of the shooting and can't imagine why anyone would want to kill her stepson's friend.
"(He was a) very good kid -- very respectful," she said.
