MIAMI -

Miami ranks as the one of the worst cities in the country for traffic congestion.

The traffic analyst group INRIX Traffic Scorecard ranked Miami as the 11th worst city in the nation.

In 2012, data shows that the average driver there spent 27.6 hours in traffic.

The top 10 worst cities for traffic were:

  1. Los Angeles
  2. Honolulu
  3. San Francisco
  4. Austin
  5. New York
  6. Bridgeport
  7. San Jose
  8. Seattle
  9. Washington D.C.
  10. Boston

Miami's Dolphin Expressway westbound from I-95 to FL-959/Red Road ranked as the #32nd most congested corridor in the country. This was the highest-ranked Florida corridor on the list.

The Cross Bronx Expressway ranked as the most congested corridor in the country.

Belgium ranked as the most congested country in the world. The United States came in at #13.
