MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A missing 14-year-old boy from southwest Miami-Dade County has been found.
Matthew Tomescu was found three blocks from South Miami Senior High School on Saturday morning.

His mother says he turned on his cell phone and called for help.
Tomescu is being evaluated at a hospital right now.
The teenager disappeared Thursday late afternoon when his mother left him in her car while she picked up his little brother from school.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a missing child alert for Tomescu on Friday.
