MIAMI – A missing 15-year-old girl from Punta Gorda who police initially believed may have been in Miami was found in St. Petersburg Tuesday.
New information gathered by police made investigators believe that Sydney Alexis Marlene Silvernail was abducted.

Police initially thought Silvernail had run away from her home sometime before midnight on Saturday, but said they now have reason to believe that she was taken from her home against her will.
Authorities said they were also looking for Ryan "Roach" Yates, 19, of Homestead, and Angelo Jacinto Cruz, 19, of the South Punta Gorda Heights area.
They said the men were acquaintances of Silvernail.
Investigators said they are speaking with the teen and the people she was found with. They did not say whether Silvernail was found with Yates and Cruz.
