Moms bypass Disney lines with disabled guide

'Post' article exposes black-market for easy park experience

The lines at Walt Disney World will no doubt be growing now that summer is around the corner.  But according to The New York Post, a group of Manhattan mothers have found a way around that.

The article published Tuesday claims a woman hired a disabled guide from Dream Tours Florida, a company that helps families with disabilities get the ultimate Disney experience.

The guide, the parents and their 1-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter went through the park in a motorized scooter with a "handicapped" sign on it, bypassing the 2 and half hour wait time at some attractions and going straight to the front of the line.

The Post states Disney allows each guest with special needs to bring up to six guests to a "more convenient entrance."

"This is how the 1 percent does Disney," the article quotes her as saying.

Disney Tours offers a VIP guide and fast passes for $310 to $380 an hour.  The black-market guides run $130 an hour to $1,040 for an eight-hour day.

Disney has not responded to the article.
