Ed King said he has joined the Black Friday craze, offering deals on his website edkingpopart.com and teaming up with Amazon.com to launch a calendar.
Bliss Spa in Miami Beach partnered with eBay.com and is offering online customers who pre-register free manicures and pedicures.
At Sears, Marcos Aveyan said their deals go from appliances to tires.
As the day becomes a bigger event, more retailers and brands are reaching out to customers.
"Not often do you have such a great opportunity to reach a target demographic so clearly," said Jonathan Margolis, who runs the Michael Alan Group.
Margolis said news of Black Friday deals are also spreading different as teams hit the streets to tell customers in person or entertain with flash mobs and food trucks.
"It's become a greater opportunity for brands and not only brands that are looking to hit retail, it's the idea that consumers are out -- they are ready to receive information, they are ready to receive materials," said Margolis. "The goal really is to always stay ahead of the curve."
Several stores, including Sears, will open at 8 p.m. Thursday.
