Motorcycle driver loses control, goes over concrete wall

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Florida Highway Patrol says a 28-year-old man has been transported to the hospital after he lost control of his motorcycle.

Russell Franklin Marder, 28, was traveling southbound on the Sawgrass Expressway when he lost control and struck a concrete wall, according to FHP.

After the impact, Marder went over the concrete wall and fell onto bushes below. FHP said he was transported to Broward Health with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said he was wearing a helmet.
