DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – A motorcyclist is dead after a crash that happened in Deerfield Beach, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.
The fatal crash happened at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Southeast 10th Street and South Federal Highway.

Deputies said the intersection was closed as BSO traffic homicide detectives investigated the crash that involved the motorcycle and a car.
The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet, died at the scene. His identity was not released.
Detectives will determine the circumstances that led to the crash.
