Motorcyclist in critical condition after hit-and-run crash

Police say man in military uniform struck victim in Hollywood May 7

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Police are looking for the driver of a grey or silver Dodge Challenger who struck a motorcyclist in Hollywood last week.

The crash happened May 7 in the area of North 56th Avenue just north of Sheridan Street.

Police said it appears that the suspect cut the motorcyclist off while entering a Wendy's parking lot.

Police said the victim laid down his motorcycle in an attempt to avoid the crash, but was hit by the vehicle.

Police said the driver of the car fled the scene and the motorcyclist was taken to a hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

The suspect was described as a white man in his early 20s, who was wearing a military uniform.
