HOMESTEAD, Fla. -

NASCAR’s Championship-finale Ford EcoBoost 400 was scheduled to take place Sunday at 3 p.m. at Homestead-Miami Speedway. It will conclude with the crowning of the series’ 2013 Champion.

Sunday's event will mark NASCAR's biggest race and is expected to boost South Florida's economy by $250 million, with events going on all day.

From 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., fans brought their personal Ford classic cars to the track to be judged on the “Best of Show.” That event included appearances by NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers.

Then at 11:20 a.m., Homestead-Miami Speedway’s Speedway Club ticket holders met with three NASCAR drivers for a 15 minute appearance.
