Calypso was chosen over the names Fiji, Bali and Sanibel in a public contest that began last month.

It was also an overwhelming favorite in the Local10.com poll, which was a component in the final tally.

The name claimed 51 percent of the vote on Local10.com. Sanibel came in second with 26 percent, Fiji in third with 12 percent and Bali finished last with 11 percent.

Calypso was born April 11.

Anyone who brings a Mother's Day card for Calypso's mom, Panama, will receive half off admission to the park for up to four people Saturday and Sunday.
